Install fails block zero-day fixes, Explorer won't open

November’s Patch Tuesday for Windows 11 22H2/23H2 failed to install at 30-37% with a rotating cast of errors: 0x80070002, 0x800F0922, and 0x800f081f. This was particularly dangerous because the update contained fixes for three actively exploited zero-day vulnerabilities — meaning the install failures left systems exposed to known attacks.
